Russia, one of the most  exciting and dynamic places on earth. 

Climbing Mt. Elbrus, the highest peak in Europe and one of the Seven Summits, is an admirable feat and the best way to truly experience this fascinating part of the world. Although only basic mountaineering skills are required, high-altitude and unpredictable weather make this a challenging and extremely enticing ascent.

Mt. Elbrus stands as a watchtower between the great masses of Europe and Asia.
Almost 1,000 meters taller than the other surrounding mountains, Mt. Elbrus dominates the countryside of the Central Caucasus like a two-headed icy giant. In fact it has two peaks that correspond to two different volcano vents: the western peak (Zapadnaya) 5642 meters is the tallest and probably the oldest one, while the eastern peak (Vostochnaya), 5,621 meters high, still has a gigantic crater 250 meters in diameter with traces of relatively recent volcanic activity. The entire mountain is covered by an immense glacier that takes up 145 square kilometers and in some zones is 400 meters thick.

Day 1: 
Transfer  from the airport in Mineral  Vody City to the hotel. Three and a half  hours from the city  we reach our hotel in the Baskan Valley, near  Terskol  village.
Night in the hotel. ( meals does not include)

Day 2:
We leave for a  acclimatization high: climbing of small mountain Cheget 3400m.   Night in the hotel. ( included only meal of trekking)

 Day3: 
 Driving  to Elbrus slopes. Teleferic  to Station "Krugozor" 3000m. Teleferic to Station "Mir" ( 3500m.)  Light  lunch. Acclimatization.  Hiking up to "Bochki" (Barrils) Huts ( 3800m.) and then to Hut "Priut of the 11s"  (4200m.) Acclimatization.  Night at "Barrils" huts.  ( L. D.)

Day 4:
Walking up to "Priut  of 11s" . Resting . Aclimatization. Hiking around . Night  in the hut 4200m. above sea level. ( B. L. D.)
 
Day 5: 
Starting to ascend at 9 a.m. Hiking up to the "Rocks of Pastukjov" ( 4800m.) Aclmatization during about 1,5  hour. Down to the Hut.  (B. L. D.)

 Day 6 or 7:
Depending  on the time conditions and how do you feel,  thees days may be the summit days. In case of the the bad time conditions we can spend one or two days more in the hut  making hiking for the best acclimatization. *  (B.L. D.)

Day  8:
Starting  our ascension at between 2 and 3 a.m. We reach the "Rocks of Pastukjov" at near 5 a.m. Rest. Climbing up till 5000m., a pass between two summits of Elbrus. Rest.  Lunch. Ascending to the top. Walking down to the hut. Night in the Hut. (B. L. D.)

Day 9:
Down  by teleferic back to the village Terskol. Transfer to the hotel. Night in the hotel. (B)

Day 10:  Transfer to the airport  of  Mineral Vody city.

* In case of the very good weather conditions and / or  very god acclimatization of participants  it'll be possible to finish our climbing two o three days before. So one of these days  we organize a free ice climbing day(s) - tope rope ( optional)
