NUEVO LEÓN EL POTRERO CHICO AND EL SALTO
El Potrero is Mexico's favorite climbing spot for locals and climbers all over the world. It has over 700 climbing routes from 5.7 to 5.13+. Here, you can also enjoy classic routes like "Space BoyZ" and other bolted multipitch routes that range several hundred meters high and can be done in a day. Climbers who want to try difficult grades will have their hands full on the great quality limestone routes of Surf and Outrage walls.

It includes:
5 intensive days of rock climbing in one of the most famous climbing areas in America: Potrero Chico, Nuevo Leon state. It includes bilingual climbing instructor and all the necessary climbing equipment.
El Potrero is an excellent choice for winter climbing, being October through March the ideal season for visitors. During summer season it is usual to cool off on natural springs and start climbing in the afternoon.
2 nights lodging in Mexico city in a youth Hostel, private room optional. It also includes continental breakfast.
An night lodging in ghost-town like Real de Catorce. We will stay in a lovely clean lodging house surrounded by a desert scenery.
5 nights stay en the Potrero Chico Park and climbing area. Lodging in a private room or camping site.
Pick up from the airport or bus station to the Hostel and Hostel to the airport or bus station.

Trip to the enigmatic Real de Catorce town in San Luis Potosi state.
Trip to Las Pozas. A surreal and exotic house in the middle of the rainforest with 36 sculptures that blend with the tropical landscape. The surrounding waterfall and rivers create a magical atmosphere for an unforgettable experience.
A relaxing rest day in the hot springs near Potrero Chico Park.
Dinner on the arrival night to Potrero Chico.

· Climbing in Cueva El Salto. The cave has high quality limestone routes covered by tufas and other rock formations on overhanged exposed walls that make this an intense climb. "El Salto" is a site full of unexplored limestone walls inside a big canyon. There are bolted routes of tufas that go up to 5.13+. A bit further is "La Cueva" (the cave) that has several routes over beautiful formations and where you can enjoy an exposed aerial view while you climb.
